Membership in Safe Schools Coalition
SSC's Member Organizations

Who comes to our meetings?
Why? When? Where?
How can I join a meeting by conference call?
This page was last updated on 05/15/15

Who?

Everyone is welcome -- students, school employees, parents/guardians, community agencies, and individual community members. ALL AGES WELCOME. You don't need to be a member to attend a Coalition meeting. It's not a "board" meeting; as always, it's an everybody meeting.

Why?

Come meet others who care about GLBTIQ youth and schools. Your energy and ideas are REALLY needed. Learn about projects that need volunteers. Help decide where the Coalition should be putting its energies. And you almost always come away with cool freebies. It's a chance to network and share what your organization or school is up to, to pick the brains of colleagues about challenges you face, and also to be a part of the exciting work of the Coalition. If you would like to read minutes from our past meetings, see them here

When?

Safe Schools Coalition meetings are on the third Tuesday every month.

Contact the chair if you have agenda items to suggest or if you need instructions about attending (in person) or calling in (by conference call). All are welcome - you do NOT need to be a Coalition member to attend.

The next SSC meeting is on Tuesday, 05/16/2015 from 4-5:30pm Pacific time
