Seeking an experienced administrative and clinical professional to be primarily responsible for the coordination, implementation and delivery of the interventions offered by Center CARE Recovery, the Center's OASAS-licensed, part 822 outpatient chemical dependence program; will work closely with the Director of Community Services, and other program coordinators, will be responsible for developing and implementing overall program plans for treatment services, including delivery and coordination of non-medical staff supervision and training, facilitation of team meetings, program operations and billing, program administration and contract management, development of ongoing programs and services, contract audits and site visits, quality assurance and client advisory committee efforts, as well as some direct service to clients. The Director is the primary representative of the program in dealings with the community, including work with other human service agencies, medical facilities, schools, and other public departments and authorities such as criminal justice entities.

Seeking an experienced youth worker to have primary responsibility for the coordination, oversight and delivery of supportive social work services, including intake and assessment services, maintenance of a safe and welcoming physical environment, as well as the spectrum of Youth Enrichment Services (YES) creative arts, recreation, and physical activity programming. (4) Director of BLGTQ Student Life, Harvard College (MA) - Open Until Filled
Duties & Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Assistant Dean of Student Life, the Director of BGLTQ Student Life will direct all initiatives related to supporting bisexual, gay, lesbian, transgender and queer (BGLTQ) student life in the College, and will provide leadership to foster respect for BGLTQ life at Harvard College. These duties will include:
Student Advising, Supervision, and Organization Advising:
Serve as first point of contact for students experiencing personal challenges related to coming out; make referrals to related resources as needed. Hire, train, and supervise undergraduate and graduate student interns. Advise BGLTQ-related student organizations, and conduct leadership development to equip them to advance their missions. Train and cosupervise CONTACT, the BGLTQ issues peer counseling group. Represent BGLTQ student views in appropriate arenas, and provide continuous feedback between BGLTQ students and the college administration. Play a key role for program development that will enhance the College community's awareness of and gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender issues. Coordinate professional development seminars for BGLTQ students preparing for post-college life.
Programs and Events:
In conjunction with student interns, leaders of the BGLTQ-related student organizations, and various University offices (e.g., Women's Center, Harvard Foundation, Freshman Dean's Office, House Offices, etc.), create, coordinate, implement, and evaluate a diverse and inclusive array of programs and events addressing bisexual, gay, lesbian, and transgender student well-being, BGLTQ history, politics, and other topics. Ensure that programs reflect the intersectionality of identities (e.g., race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, nationality, etc.). Develop ongoing mechanisms for feedback from current undergraduates and from alumnae/i to inform program development and implementation. Share responsibility for budget oversight for programs and events. Act as liaison to other College offices and programs responsible for student organization advising, planning, and events. Continuously assess student and community needs and adjust programming priorities in response to changing needs.
Residential Staff Training:
Coordinate, implement, and evaluate training for residential staff (tutors and proctors) identified as BGLTQ advisers; develop additional trainings and resources for all residential staff.
Planning and Goal Setting:
Collaborate with the BGLTQ advisory board and the Assistant Dean of Student Life in establishing long-range goals and priorities for BGLTQ student life, and administer the funding for student-initiated projects related to these goals.
Alumni/ae Relations:
Acts as liaison to the Harvard Gay and Lesbian Caucus and the Open Gate Foundation.
Policy Development:
Provides leadership for development of a policy/protocol to respond meaningfully to bias-related incidents involving students who are, or are perceived to be, BGLTQ.
Other duties assigned according to the changing needs of the community.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred in higher education student affairs, counseling, social work, or related field. A minimum of 5 years of experience leading initiatives related to BGLTQ life in a college or related institution is preferred. Familiarity with BGLTQ history, politics, and identity development. In addition, the incumbent must have experience in creating educational programs and events, and working with a broad range of constituencies. Latitude for independent judgment. Strong skill sets in the following areas are required: written and oral communication, planning and organization, budget management, policy development, ability to work collaboratively with a variety of constituents, ability to work independently on complex projects, managing change, and establishing priorities and meeting deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
Ph.D. in related field and teaching experience at the undergraduate level. (A successful candidate may have the option to be appointed as lecturer and to carry a one course per year teaching load in the Committee on degrees in Women, Gender and Sexuality.)

(5) Assistant Director for LGBT Programs, Bowling Green State University (OH) - Open Until Filled
The Assistant Director for LGBT Programs will supervise and coordinate programs and services for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) students on the BGSU campus. This position will serve as an office liaison or advisor for LGBT student organizations (currently Vision, HUE, Queer Grads, FOCUS, and Transcendence). As a member of the Office of Multicultural Affairs team, this person will provide support and guidance on effective methods for retaining underrepresented students on campus and teach multicultural retention classes and provide advising to at-risk students.
Essential Duties, Tasks and Responsibilities:
· Lead the diversity initiatives of Office of Multicultural Affairs for students, faculty and staff at BGSU and the surrounding community by supervising and coordinating LGBT diversity education, workshops and programs. Participate and work on committees related to LGBT issues and concerns such as the LGBT Advisory Board. Lead and supervise the Safe Zone diversity education initiatives and other LGBT diversity education initiatives. Train other Safe Zone workshop leaders. Provide department training for staff to make sure LGBT student advocacy and ally skills remain current for Office of Multicultural Affairs Staff and other departments. Provide LGBT diversity education for classes such as the Diversity Peer Educators class, counseling classes, etc.
· Teach multicultural retention and transition classes and monitor students' academic progress by reviewing mid-term grades and by providing additional intrusive advising assistance, if needed. Provide holistic advising to support retention. This advising includes developing academic success strategies, financial aid awareness and strategy building, social integration, cultural and identity development support and transitional issues support to diverse students. Advise individual students on a "walk-in" basis and provide follow up on students' early alerts and mid-term progress reports as needed for at-risk diverse student populations.
· Participate on the National Coalition Building Institute (NCBI) BGSU Affiliate Leaderships Team. Lead and facilitate NCBI Workshops and participate in other NCBI functions.
· Participate in Office of Admissions recruitment programs such as road trips, Guidance Counselor Days, etc.
· Participate in New Student Orientation Programs.
Knowledge, Skills or Abilities:
· The person in this position will need to successfully complete National Coalition Building Institute (NCBI) three-day training in order to facilitate NCBI workshops and work on the NCBI Leadership within the first year of employment. The person in this position will also need to complete the Safe Zone Train the Trainer program in order to facilitate LGBT Safe Zone Workshops within one year of employment.

· Ability to interpret and apply policies regarding enrollment and degree completion requirements

· 2 years experience maintaining student records and analyzing complex issues using data from multiple sources

Responsible for the administration and management of a comprehensive program to serve lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) students, faculty, and staff, as well as allies and the entire Wake Forest University community. Develops and implements educational and cultural programming and support services at the Center. Supervises staff, manages delivery of services, prepares budget recommendations, and annual executive reports. Leads the effort for strategic partnering and long range planning for the Center. Reports to the Office of the Provost and the Division of Student Life.
Essential Functions:
· Develops new program initiatives for the Center.
· Advises and counsels students in group and individual settings.

· Works closely with Career Services, the Business School, the Office of Multicultural Affairs, the First Generation College Student Scholars Program, Division of Student Life, Admissions and other major units on campus to create and implement diversity initiatives.
· Works with academic departments and programs whose interests intersect with gender expression and sexuality to develop and sponsor programs of intellectual and cultural significance to LGBT students and scholars.
· Serves as a departmental liaison to other administrative offices and academic departments; serves on a variety of University committees as assigned.
· Implements Special Projects as directed by the Provost and Vice President of Student Life.
· Performs other related duties for Office of Diversity and Inclusion as needed.
Education/Experience:
Master's degree plus at least five years experience working in a related field. PhD and supervisory experience preferred. Research and/or teaching background in the field preferred.

The Project Organizer will support a one-of-a-kind collaborative project between The Task Force and Basic Rights Oregon to engage rank and file union members in educational activities and public actions to build support for the freedom to marry and working families. This project is a key element of a broader statewide education campaign designed to increase support in Oregon for civil marriage for committed gay and lesbian couples. This is a temporary full time position that will last 6 months, this can be negotiable depending on the candidate€™s desire for half time work.
Responsibilities:
· Develop and lead trainings and programs to strengthen rank and file union leadership among LGBT members; work to support LGBT union leadership teams;
· Recruit, mobilize and train LGBT union-members to build public support for LGBT equality and the freedom to marry;
· Mobilize LGBT organizations and community members to support local union campaigns;
· Activate LGBT union members to participate in union activities such as phone banks, lobby days, contract campaigns, etc.;
· Work with union leaders and staff to hightlight the stories of LGBT members and their families in existing communications and educational channels;
· Maintain systems to track volunteer participation; prepare project reports and work plans;
· Collaborate with the Project Coordinator, Basic Rights Oregon Communications department and SIEU communications contact to develop and implement a strategic communications action plan.

· Minimum one year experience working in labor, community or constituency organizing or demonstrated dedication to those issues;
· Interest in motivating organizational leaders to deeply engage in coalition efforts and managing organizational partnerships;
