Alcohol/Drug TeenLine: Not especially knowledgeable about gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender youth issues, but a good place to call for general help and treatment referral information. Phone: 1-800-562-1240

Child Protective Services: This toll free number will give you the telephone number for reporting child abuse in your local community. 24 hours a day: Phone: 1-866-END HARM (363-4276).

Gay-Lesbian-Bisexual-Transgender-and-Questioning Youth Info Line: provides 24-hour information recorded by and for and about GLBT youth, from support groups, learning and recreation opportunities for sexual minority youth (skating parties, scholarships), to community involvement (how to become involved in equal rights activism, from immigrant rights to employment discrimination). Hate Free Zone Hotline: To report a hate crime, hate incident or other discriminatory action (based on any kind of bigotry -- race, gender, religion, country of origin, sexual orientation, etc.). Leave a confidential message and a staffer will return your call. This is also a way to get connected with a Safe Schools Intervention Specialist (for school-based, homophobic harassment or violence): Phone: 1-866-HF-ZONE-1.

Safe Schools Hotline: Information, referral and advocacy for students, families and educators struggling with anti-gay/lesbian/bisexual/transgender bullying, harassment or violence in a public or private elementary, middle or high school. 24 hours a day - the phone line is answered at the Sexual Assault Hotline and they will have a Safe Schools Coalition Intervention Specialist volunteer get back to you within 24 hours: Phone: 1-877-SAFE-SAFE (1-877-723-3723); Web contact form (7 days/week).  

The Seattle LGBT Community Center's Referral Line (3:00-9:00 Monday-Friday); Phone: 1-206-323-LGBT

Sex Information Line: Sexuality educators from Planned Parenthood answer all kinds of questions about sexuality or sexual health. The person you talk to will take the time you need to discuss your concerns, and give support, accurate information, and helpful referrals. King County Sexual Assault Resource Center:- 24-hour resource line provides confidential, personal support and information on medical, legal, and other related questions regarding sexual assault. Offers medical advocacy for medical care, and follow-up supportive services are also provided. Serves all victims of sexual assault, past or recent, and their partners, families and friends, as well as those seeking more information on the topic of sexual violence. Washington State HIV/AIDS Hotline: HIV/AIDS information and resource referrals on prevention/education; HIP, APDP eligibility and enrollment. Technical assistance and consultation to organizations, businesses, schools and healthcare providers. You can leave messages 24 hours a day and they are returned on the next workday, but the line is staffed only during the workday. Phone: 1-800-272-2437
