(1)Idaho Safe Schools Coalition Annual Members Retreat (Boise, ID, May 14, 2011)

 

What: ISSC Members Retreat and Celebration
Why: A chance to socialize with each other and get to know other members.  We also want to thank you for all the great things weve done in the past year and recognize some fantastic youth!
Who: Everyone
When: Saturday, May 14th from 5-9 pm
Where: Municipal Park Shelter (#13 on this map)
Cost: FREE

Whats included: There will be some great games and fun activities starting right at 5 pm and then we will have a catered dinner during the latter half of the evening. 
What to bring: Sunglasses, your camera, your own beverages - beer and wine are welcome (no bottles in the park), a frisbee or horseshoes or other fun park games if youd like, appropriate clothing for the weather (the shelter is covered, but rain or shine, well be there!)

Tim Wise is among the most prominent anti-racist writers and educators in the United States. Recently named one of €œ25 Visionaries Who Are Changing Your World,€ by Utne Reader, Wise has spoken in 49 states, on more than 600 college campuses and to community groups across the nation. He has also lectured internationally in Canada and Bermuda on issues of racism in education, religion and the labor market.
